Contacting Childline You can talk to us about anything. No problem is too big or too small. Call us on 0800 1111 or chat to us online.

Shout is a free, confidential and 24/7 text messaging service for anyone in the UK who needs support. If you are struggling to cope and need to talk, our trained Shout Volunteers are here for you.

HOPELINE247 advisers want to work with you to understand why thoughts of suicide might be present. They also want to provide you with a safe space to talk through anything happening in your life that could be impacting on your or anyone else’s ability to stay safe.

  • For children and young people under the age of 35 who are experiencing thoughts of suicide

  • For anyone concerned that a young person could be thinking about suicide

  • If you or someone else is in danger, call 999 or go to A&E now

  • If you need urgent help for your mental health, get help from NHS 111 online or call 111
